????????

"Wapi Tenges MCA Silas Tochim. Is it true that you were deported from the United Kingdom over conmanship targeting Churches and orphans?" "WORLD NEWS AUGUST 2, 2020 / 10:05 PM / UPDATED 3 HOURS AGO.

A British court has jailed a Kenyan man for four years after stolen cars destined for Africa were traced to him. Police traced two cars to Mr Kipkasi Tochim at Fast Safe Storage in Smethwick, according to Reuters. The cars, a Ford Focus valued at, Ksh 458, 646 and a Ksh 11,007,519 Range Rover were traced to him.

Mr Kipkasi, an insurer who settled in Birmingham after migrating from Canada, was convicted by Shrewsbury Crown Court today Tuesday the 2nd August 2020 of the acquisition, retention and use of stolen property. West Midlands Police said 17 cars with a value of Ksh 45,864,664 had been recovered.

Mr Kipkasi Tochim told police he had been a manager at Fast Safe Storage, but the company disputes this. Malik Hussain Muzafar, a manager at the company, said Mr Kipkasi Tochim had not been an employee but had hired a unit from the firm and shipped containers abroad.

According to Reuters, Mr Kipkasi Tochim was first arrested for handling stolen cars in 2015 after vehicles that had arrived in West Africa were traced back to him. He was released without charge after denying any wrongdoing, saying he had not been present when they were loaded and had been acting on customers’ instructions.

His accomplices a Mr Godfrey Mokaya and Mr Sylas Kipkasgei Tochim both alumni of the university of Wales faced forced administrative removal. The Home office was forced to enforce their removal from the UK because they failed to show proof to remain in the UK but unlike the two, Mr Kipkasi Tochim had his leave to remain accepted because it had not expired.

There is a very thin line between removals and deportation according to UK immigration laws but what they share in common is that both are carried out either on a commercial airline or by private charter flight. In July 2012, ports police inspected a shipment to Africa and discovered a Nissan Murano, reported stolen from Leicester in 2011; and a BMW X5, stolen from London in 2012.

Both vehicles had false registration plates. The shipment was traced back to Mr Kipkasi Tochim, from Sommerfield Road, Woodgate, and had been loaded at the storage company in Smethwick, police said. Over several months, port authorities inspected more shipments and saw several stolen cars appearing on manifests among legal cargoes for social workers in Coventry in the UK.

Police discovered false shipping documents, fictional addresses and bogus names, as well as photographic evidence of several of the cars, used farm equipment and secondhand furniture at the storage business. “ Mr Kipkasi Tochim was involved in a very lucrative business, as British cars can fetch up to four times their worth in Africa.

They have also been swindling innocent Africans looking for cheap secondhand furniture, farm equipment and secondhand cloths from the UK. Most of their victims are children homes, religiou sorganizations and individuals" said investigating officer Det Con Darren Brown."

Comparing and contrasting the above story you realize it is a propaganda against Hon Tochim. This is uncouth, barbaric, uncalled for and unlawful.
